WHO WE ARE

Red Cliffs East Primary School is situated in a rural setting with its students drawn from Red Cliffs and the surrounding district. The school's families reflect the diversity of the area, including the economic and social diversity.

The school has two teaching and learning coaches whose sole purpose is to foster continuous improvement in teaching and learning throughout the school. There is a strong emphasis on community in terms of relationships and learning. The school vision is clear - learning for life which has two edges: learning so that students are able to be effective, contributing and productive members of society who have choices in pathways; and a commitment to life-long learning.

It follows, then, that providing for the learning needs of all students by building a foundation for learning that will last a life time is the school's mission. Values and attributes associated with creative thinking, cooperation, teamwork, open communication, consultation and good organisation are inherent in this foundation. So, too, is the belief that all children can and want to learn and that being self-motivated problem solvers, with a capacity for independent thinking and application, is strategic in developing life-long learning attributes.

JED NYSTROM AND RYLIE O'BRIEN

Hello.  We are the Red Cliffs East School Leaders for 2026.

Welcome to our school!

Red Cliffs East Primary School has a safe, warm and caring environment, where everyone is welcomed and accepted for who they are.  We treat everyone with respect and kindness as we build connections within our school.

Our students are learning to become self-motivated learners who try their best at everything they do.  We are not afraid of challenges, as we take on opportunities we are offered.

Our community is generous and involved and extends beyond the school gates to families and friends.  Students enjoy safe relationships with community members through their involvement in Breakfast Club, special events and community days.

Through the Resilience Project, G.E.M. has become a big part of RCEPS.  Our school community is learning to show gratitude for what we have, empathy towards others and mindfulness to help us become the best we can be.  This helps us grow as people as we develop leadership skills as we make our way through our primary school years.

We are very proud to be students at Red Cliffs East Primary School and contributing to our school community.
