WHO WE ARE
Red Cliffs East Primary School is situated in a rural setting with its students drawn from Red Cliffs and the surrounding district. The school's families reflect the diversity of the area, including the economic and social diversity.
The school has two teaching and learning coaches whose sole purpose is to foster continuous improvement in teaching and learning throughout the school. There is a strong emphasis on community in terms of relationships and learning. The school vision is clear - learning for life which has two edges: learning so that students are able to be effective, contributing and productive members of society who have choices in pathways; and a commitment to life-long learning.
It follows, then, that providing for the learning needs of all students by building a foundation for learning that will last a life time is the school's mission. Values and attributes associated with creative thinking, cooperation, teamwork, open communication, consultation and good organisation are inherent in this foundation. So, too, is the belief that all children can and want to learn and that being self-motivated problem solvers, with a capacity for independent thinking and application, is strategic in developing life-long learning attributes.

THE 2023 SCHOOL LEADERS MESSAGE
As School Leaders we would like to welcome you to our school.
Our school is a safe environment for learning and playing. We build quality relationships with the staff, parents and students.
We are given many different opportunities to grow as learners, and enjoy the learning at the same time.
As students make their way through their schooling, we are encouraged to take on leadership roles such as School Leaders, Play Leaders and Junior School Council. In these roles students are taught how to lead and are given many opportunities to grow our own leadership skills.
We are super proud of our school community. It is inclusive, helpful and supportive.
